CANTIENICA®-LONDON

About CANTIENICA® body in evolution

CANTIENICA® body in evolution is a body method from Switzerland that has the alignment and erectness of the bones, fascia, ligaments and muscles at its core.

While the pelvic floor and the thoracic diaphragm play an important role, the CANTIENICA® method works the whole body using the interconnection between all of our body parts. Through a series of precise exercises and guided movements, the method focuses on activating and engaging the often-overlooked deep musculature.

Whether you are seeking relief from discomfort and pain, wanting to improve your posture, looking for a strong basis for any kind of sport, or simply interested in exploring a mindful approach to your body, the CANTIENICA® method offers a path for everyone. The CANTIENICA® training is designed to be personalized, ensuring that it can be adapted to your specific needs and comfort level.

The CANTIENICA® method prevents and may help with:

  • Malpositions (including hollow back, hunchback, scoliosis)

  • Tension headaches

  • Back pain

  • Shoulder problems

  • Bow legs, knock knees

  • Hip, knee or ankle problems

  • Joint problems

  • Foot deformities

  • Sagging pelvic floor

  • Hemorrhoids

  • Incontinence

The CANTIENICA® method during and after pregnancy:

Training during pregnancy

The CANTIENICA® method builds deep muscles and supports the pregnant woman in her individual bone alignment, which continuously changes with a growing baby bump. Through training, you will discover exercises that can help prevent pregnancy discomforts or, if they arise, alleviate them yourself.

The CANTIENICA® method serves as an ideal tool for self-help with typical pregnancy discomforts.

This includes assistance with:

  • Pelvic floor weakness

  • Symphysis pubis dysfunction

  • Back pain

  • Piriformis syndrome and sacroiliac joint syndrome

  • Acid reflux and heartburn

Postnatal training

Throughout pregnancy and childbirth, the abdomen, pelvis, and pelvic floor muscles undergo significant stretching and straining. Additionally, the back experiences stress even after childbirth due to breast feeding and carrying the baby.

The CANTIENICA® method goes beyond traditional postnatal exercises, addressing the entire body to help you regain strength while promoting overall well-being.

This includes assistance with:

  • Symphysis pubis dysfunction

  • Prolapsed womb, bowel, bladder, or vagina

  • Diastasis recti

  • Incontinence and hemorrhoids

  • Back and neck pain

The exercises are gentle, making them suitable for women in various postnatal stages.

When can I start with the CANTIENICA® training?

A general rule of thumb is that you can begin six weeks after giving birth or eight weeks after a caesarean section if you feel up to it. If you are unsure, please consult your doctor or midwife first.
